Australia, through its amateur governing body, the Australian Baseball Federation, will participate in the 2004 Women's World Series.

Team Australia took the Bronze Medal in Women's World Series I, won the Championship in 2002 in St. Petersburg, Florida and were runners-up in Women's World Series III at home in Australia.
